Danielle Lyn is a Filipino American actress and author of Sugar Water. Her film work includes Nappily Ever After, The Divergent Series, An Actor Prepares, Candy Jar, Fist Fight, The Duff, and the OWN series Queen Sugar. She will be seen next starring in the new AMC Shudder series Creepshow.
Bio: Born June 24, 1990 in Mindanao, Philippines, adopted, and raised in the US with her American family. She grew up figure skating, performing and studying the arts and literature. Her career began after being scouted while reading in a café bookstore. She serves as a global advocate and activist for adoption and orphan care, diversity and women in film, animal rescue, environmental conservation, protecting rights and equalities of women and the LGBTQ community. She Co-Founded Hānai Creative producing original content and promoting diversity in the arts and entertainment industries.
